Accidently gets a fresh new Icon and a loading page

Happy Holidays Everyone.

Just before the new year, we wanted the give Accidently a fresh new look. Hence we added a new Icon and a new loading page.

More changes to come!

Are you sure you want to call 911?

Based on multiple requests from Accidently's users, we added added a confirmation step before calling 911 from the application.

Many users have shared that the touch screen goes through many adventures. In that sense the option to call 911 from the Accidently iPhone application became the star of the show.

Users, some laughing, some not so much have shared stories about calling 911 in various situations. Some told me of 911 calling them back asking if they are ok and in one rare case ... well ... rescue services showed up at one of our users home...

While we are glad to see that Accidently is widely used, we want to make sure that it keeps you guys out of trouble rather than gets you into trouble. hence wegot it fixed in version 1.7.

We figured that at a time of an an Accident, no one wants to start typing the details of the people who were involved in the accident! So we integrated Accidently with Bump.

Accidently now allows you to Bump your phones to exchange personal details with all relevant parties.

Today, Accidently learned to tweet.
The idea behind adding support for twitter is simple: We believe that there is nothing like the wormth and the support of your good friends during the difficult time that follows a car accident.
We would like our users to be able to be able to easily communicate with their friends. Enjoy.

Accidently now allows you to ask for recommendations on Facebook

We added the functionality of asking for recommendations for service providers
(such as a car service, or a lawyer).



The content of the Facebook post is changeable to provide you with the flexibiltiy to adapt the message to your group of friends.

Communicate with professional service providers (Insurance Agents, Lawyers etc)

Many of our users indicated that at a time of a car accident, they would like to communicate directly with professional service providers such as an insurace agent, a car repair man, a lawyer and others.

The accidently iPhone App now allows you to do so.

You can define a professional service providers (within the "Contact Professionals" section).For each service provider you can add a phone number and an email address.

Accidently will then allow you to communicate with these service providers (from within the application) and provide them with relevant useful information pertaining to the accident.

Version 1.3 adds Stability and Performance improvements

We added multiple code improvements to correct several stability issues
that were indicated by our users.

We want to thank our users for their detailed feedback which continously helps us improve Accidently.

You can now call 911 From within Accidently

Following many requests made by our users,

we added the ability to call 911 from within the Accidently iPhone App.

As you will be able to see (in the attached snapshot)

On the top left corner of the entrance page,

We added a button that allows you to click and call 911.

We ask that you do not use this button unless you absolutely have to as it is highly important to keep the '911' lines available for those who need them

So i couldn't be happier today as Accidently was just approved and published in Apple's App Store! :)

A "Quick Manual" for using the Accidently iPhone App

Here is what you need you need to do in order to use The Accidently iPhone App:

Once after a car accident (on site, an hour later, or a couple of days later):
• Download the Accidently iPhone Application from the Appstore
• If you are on-site, focus on filling out the the “Top Priority” Section only.
• You can also take pictures of vehicle and the location.
• Later on Follow the different sections to add necessary information about the
accident, the peope who were involved in it,
• Finally send a formatted report that contains the relevant information via email
to yourself, your insurance agent, your lawyer, or anyone else you’d like to
include.

God forbids, if you had an accident, there are 2 things you need to do:
1. Attend to your health
2. Gather information necessary for follow-up insurance claims, police reports, and other legal actions

The Accidently iPhone Application aims to completely cover item (2), allowing you to invest the bulk of your time and worries in item (1)

Once after a car accident (on site, an hour later, or a couple of days later):
• Download the Accidently iPhone Application

- Add necessary information about the accident
- Take pictures of the location of the accident and the resulting damage to your vehicle
- Document contact details of key witnesses, passangers , and other people that were involved in the accident.
